A MINI-SPLIT PARTNERSHIP:
AN INSTALLATION COMPANY YOU CAN TRUST & A WORLD REKNOWN MANUFACTURER
Mini-split heat pumps are air source heat pumps that have revolutionized heating and air conditioning around the globe – they are the fastest growing and largest part of the global HVAC market. BTU Control sells Mitsubishi Electric mini-splits. They can heat a room or a whole house at half the operating cost of propane heating and provide cooling and dehumidification (“dry mode”) too. Mitsubishi Electric is a world leader in cooling systems for residential, commercial and industrial use.
What is a mini-split air conditioning system?
Mini-split air conditioning systems are high-efficiency cooling and heating systems. They allow you to keep spaces that have no ductwork as comfortable as those that do. Mini-split systems can be used not only in spaces that have no available ductwork, but they can also be used to balance out hot and cold spots in your home or office, increase the energy efficiency of surrounding spaces, or provide precision temperature control in areas where storage or data needs to be protected. They come in a single unit and multi-unit configurations.

Do you have a room in your home or commercial space that you would love to be more climate-controlled, but you cannot install additional ductwork? Where ductwork is impractical or even impossible, mini-split air conditioning systems are a great option.
Any living or working space that is without ductwork is generally a good space for a mini-split system. Here are just a few examples of areas where a mini-split system might be ideal:
When it comes to heating one’s home, increased efficiency is highly sought-after. For this reason, many are electing to install mini-splits.
For those homes already possessing non-ducted heating systems, mini-splits are a great option to add onto existing heating elements. Typically, ductless heating systems require things like hydronic power (such as hot water heaters) or utilize space heating methods (which generate heat via kerosene or propane). Mini-splits are ideal when making additions to a home, as expanding existing ductwork can be problematic in some situations.
Mini-splits are comprised of two main components. A compressor or condenser is situated outside of the home, while an air-handling unit is outfitted indoors. These separate components are linked via a conduit, which consists of a power cable, condensate drain, refrigerant and suction tubing. If there are numerous air-handling units, each will contain an associated thermostat. This is helpful for regulating the air temperature in each room where the unit is placed.
